The Signal/Interlocking tower has been a fixture
in railroading from the very beginnning of rail operations in North Am erica. Sad to say more and more Interlocking towers are being decommisioned and razed. Achievements in signal technology,
notice those GPS domes on the diesels, cable and wireless capabilities, have relegated these Icons to the history
books. Several locations have been saved from the wrecking ball but the future for most is bleak!
I will offer a tribute to these falen Icons and offer the B & O SA and Manila models
as my first in series.
Deesigns will be offered in HO, S &
O gauge during 2009. The model will include the tower and one tunnel portal as Signature SeriesLimited Edition sets suitable
forf display or incorporation into your layout or diorama.
Note, I will offer a number B & O and other Fallen Fall roads tower designs in the future!
